Trout’s rebuilt a C4 tranny for us that was missing second gear. They communicated well during the rebuild, made sure what they were doing was what we wanted, down to the color they painted it. I just got the tranny back in the car and it works perfectly. We can feel the better power and the shifting is smooth and at the right points. The kick down gear works correctly now. We met the guys at Carlisle and they did not oversell their abilities, they lived up to everything they said they would do and met all our expectations. We will come to Trout’s again for future projects we have in the works.

Wow! First time at this shop and they were very accommodating since there was a small issue with my appointment. I was given a ride back to my house and the owner was very very nice. They promptly performed the alignment on my car. Once done, they called me to let me know it was ready for pick up. It took me a couple hours to get there but in the meantime, I received a couple extra calls because the top of my car was down and they were concerned that it could have gotten rained on. Over all a very good experience with this shop and the owner.

Honesty and genuine care for their customer is what Trout's automotive is all about and my recent service appointment is proof of that. I took my vehicle in for its regular oil change and ask them to replace my brakes as someone I work with advised it "was needed". After a complete inspection of the brakes & system I was given the good news that my brakes were fine and did not need to be replaced and Tasha advised the timetable when it would need to be done so I could plan ahead. The fact that they didn't do work that was asked about but wasn't needed, and were upfront about it, speaks volumes about the truthfulness and honesty you can count on. I won't take my vehicle and place else and will say without a doubt, Trout's is the only place to take your vehicle for service!! As a "70 Plus Senior" it is comforting to know how trustworthy Trout's is and they will not take advantage of you!
